Knowing more about exactly how water Chemistry works with Pond Management

You can easily maintain the water in your pond clean, even if you're not a chemist or a biologist. Though having this type of knowledge will allow you to understand the processes of a pond better, a quick training course on pond water chemistry is quite beneficial in helping the common pond owner in gaining further knowledge and maintain a pond cleaning program with good results.

The pH level is regarded as the commonly discussed term when speaking about water chemistry. The pH quantities are rated on a scale from 1 to 14, and the level is dependant on the quantity of hydrogen ions, that are found in the water. For a pond it's suggested a pH level of seven, because this way anything within it can live well. If it's below a 7 this is considered alkaline, while quantities higher than a 7 are considered too acidic.
